Ortigia

Ortigia, the Raft of Stone is a photographic portfolio on the historic center of Syracuse, my hometown in Sicily. Developed over years, it reflects my search for authentic images within an urban flow that no longer exists. I never approached this work with documentary ambitions, but as a personal quest for truth and reality. The city, once familiar, has become a circus of fast-paced, globalized tourism. This portfolio stands as a photographic testimony to that profound transformation.
