Martino Di Silvestro, born in 1972, lives and works as an architect between Switzerland and Sicily.
He began photography at the age of twenty, encouraged by his father.
The pleasure of seeing his first pictures on photographic paper
developed by hand convinced him to continue.
From this time on, the
camera became a constant companion, an instrument for searching and
revealing the wonders of everyday life.
Most of his work, taken during these years, is centered on common
people, animals and landscapes.
Many pictures have been shot in Europe,
particularly in Sicily, a place where modernity cohabits with the
heritage of its archaic past. |
